Funeral services for Roy H.
Hazelton, age 88, of 1026 Mechanic Street, Ogdensburg, will be held on Thursday,
March 4, 2010 at Frary Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Lynn Sullivan
officiating. Burial will be in Campbell Cemetery in the spring.
Calling hours will be held on March 3, 2010 at Frary Funeral Home from 2:00 to
4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Hazelton passed
away on March 1, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Hazelton is survived by his
wife, Beverly; one son, Sherman Hazelton of Ogdensburg; one daughter Darlene
Lynch and her husband Patrick of Morristown; four grandchildren, Drew Lynch,
Hillary Skelly, Nathan Hazelton and Justin Hazelton; two great grandchildren,
Karly Rhiannon and Kayden Lane.He was
predeceased by one brother, Charles Hazelton; three sisters, Bernice Miller,
Louise Avery Hazelton and Betty Alguire.
Mr. Hazelton was born on October 9,
1921 in Russell, the son of Walter & Lavina (Bice) Hazelton. He
attended schools in Hagerstown, M.D. He married Beverly Simmons on February 9,
1950 in Hagerstown, M.D. with Rev. Gonae officiating. He served in the US
Army Air force from 1942 until he was honorably discharged in 1946.He worked as a truck driver for McConvilles
Trucking and also for Augsbury Corporation and later became a diesel mechanic
in his later years.
Mr. Hazelton was an avid Nascar fan.He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I was unable to get to calling hours for my Dad has been sick.
Wanted to know you are in my thoughts and prayers and wanted you to know Darlene how much I have appreciated all you done for my parents.
