Bromley, AlfredFuneral services for Alfred J. Bromley, age 78, of King Street, Ogdensburg, NY, will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2015, at 2:30PM at Notre Dame Church with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery with full military honors. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 6th, 2015 at Frary Funeral Home from 2:00PM to 4:00PM & 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Mr. Bromley passed away on Sunday morning, November 1, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Donna; one daughter, Vicki Kiah and her husband, Douglas, of Ogdensburg; a son, Matthew Bromley, of Rossie, NY and five grandchildren, Heather, Jacob and Ethan Kiah and Jenna & Caden Bromley.

Alfred was born on March 14, 1937, in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Alfred and Ella Dempsey Bromley. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. Alfred went on to serve in the United States Army in 1962 and was honorably discharged in 1964. Mr. Bromley married Donna Lesperance on July 2, 1966 at Notre Dame Church with Rev. Wilfred Rapin. Alfred worked at Shade Roller Corp. in Ogdensburg for 44 years as a boiler man.

Alfred enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his wife, children & grandchildren. Mr. Bromley was also a member of the National Rifle Association.

    Dear Donna, Vicki and Matt:
    So sorry to hear about Jack’s passing. I’m sure he’ll be missed by friends and family alike. Jim and I always enjoyed his hunting stories. My prayers and thoughts are with you and all the kids.

    Donna, Vickie and Matt – so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. My sister, Pat Dempsey, who was his Aunt by marriage had so much respect for Jack, thought highly of him. I remember him coming to Pat’s when I was a teen, and he was always very nice. God bless.

    Donna and family – Tom and I are so sorry to hear about Jack’s passing.
    You and I go back a long ways (school days)and even tho we don’t have the time to just sit and visit any more I still have good memories of you and Jack from Holy Cross School. Take care of yourself now. God bless…
