Allen C. Fisher


Funeral services for Allen C. Fisher, age 75, of Ogdensburg,
will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal
Church with Father Craig Hacker officiating. Interment will be in Foxwood
Memorial Park with full military honors.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
at Frary Funeral Home. Mr. Fisher passed away Friday morning (October 3, 2008)
at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Janet; a son, Allen and
his wife, Luella, of Ogdensburg; two daughters, Valerie Scott and her husband,
Jack, of Heuvelton and Vicky Snyder and her husband, David, of Ogdensburg;
eight grandchildren, Jamie and Beth Ladoucear, Darci Ladouceur and her
companion, Drew Johnson, Crystal Snyder, Nicole Snyder and her companion,
Spencer Kirby, Rachel Fisher, Taylor Fisher, and Allen Zachary Fisher; two
great-grandchildren, Emmalie and Jakob Ladouceur; his caregiver and friend,
Debbie Montroy; and special friend, Joyce Potts.

Mr. Fisher was born on June 5, 1933 in Ogdensburg, the son
of Burt and Edna (Burns) Fisher. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. He
joined the service in 1950 and served in Korea with the 24th
infantry division ASA/AAA battalion unit as a Sargent. He married Janet Perry
on March 12, 1955 at St. John’s Episcopal Church. He worked various jobs before
joining the Sheriff’s Department in 1973 and retired as a Sergeant in 1992 due
to ill health. He was a member of the Amvets, the VFW, and Oddfellows.

Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of St.
Lawrence Valley.
