Arlene L. Morehouse

Private services for Arlene L. Morehouse, age 80, of Morristown and formerly Bristol, CT, will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Peacedale Cemetery in Bristol, CT. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Mrs. Morehouse passed away at her home on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Arlene is survived by three children, one son, Steven Morehouse and his wife, Sharon, of Ogdensburg, NY and two daughters, Brenda Hernandez and her husband, David, of Hartford, CT and Candace Anderson and her husband, Brian, of Pomfret, CT; a brother, Donald McIntyre and his wife, Maxine, of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother, Edward McIntyre.

Arlene was born on September 25, 1938, in Fort Fairfield, Maine, the daughter of Arlie and Millicent Johnston McIntyre. She graduated from Bristol High School in Bristol, CT. Arlene married Phillip Morehouse on November 12, 1960 in Bristol, CT. He predeceased on November 4, 1995. At one time, Arlene was employed by Eastern Photo.

Arlene enjoyed reading and crafts.

    Many fond memories of our families many years ago. I remember her & her cousin Richard singing “Heaven on my Mind.” Now she has gone to meet her reward. My prayers are with the family.
