Beverly A. Sheldon

Beverly A. Sheldon, age 86, of Nicholville, died April 5, 2018 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. 

 A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Frary Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Beverly was born June 15, 1931 in Massena, NY, the daughter of Willis and Gladys Currier Crouch.  She attended local schools in Massena, NY. On January 9, 1954, she married Nolan Sheldon at Sacred Heart Church in Massena.  He predeceased her on February 29, 1988.

She is survived by two sons, Terry (Sylvia) Sheldon, of Nicholville, Vernon Sheldon, of Nicholville; one daughter, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Sprankle, of Nicholville; ten grandchildren, Jesse (Charity) Sprankle, Jacob (Michelle) Sprankle, Serena Sprankle, Zara (Jared Cambpell), Aimee (Matt) Helbold, Vanessa Sheldon, Alicia Robinson, Kelsy Lobo, Aaron Perkins and Joseph Sheldon; nine great grandchildren, Alexis, Hunter, Kyle and Kennedy Sprankle, Colby and Maci Campbell, Ariana and Ethan Helmbold, Ivy Robinson; and two great granddaughters on the way.  Beverly was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Dale Crouch.

Beverly was well known for her funny, bold and feisty personality.  She was spunky, outspoken, loved practical jokes, storytelling and most of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed music, dancing, shopping and reminiscing about the good old days. She will be missed by all. She was a member of Holy Cross Church in Hopkinton.

    Terry, Vern, Becky and family, we will greatly miss Bev and all of her exciting fun filled stories she would share with us.
