A celebration of life service for Craig Andrew, age 40, of 903 North Umberland Street, Morristown, New York, will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the family home in Morristown. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the family home. Burial will be in the family plot. Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home. Mr. McDonald passed away January 14, 2008. He was stricken while working in Oak Point, NY and later pronounced dead at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.
Craig is survived by his parents, Joe and Shirley McDonald as well as brothers, Aaron McDonald and wife, Cheryl Young McDonald (and their two children Michaela and Seamus) of Bozeman, Montana, and Albert McDonald and Ellen Gimperline McDonald (and their two children Chloe and Benjamin) of Livingston, Montana; and his sister, Yvonne Suzanne McDonald of Venice, California.
Mr. McDonald was born on September 5, 1967, the son of Jo and Shirley McDonald. He attended grammar school in Morristown and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. He did a post graduate year at Kent Preporatory School in Kent, Connecticut and then spent four years at Norwich University in Northfield, VT and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following University and to honor his ROTC obligations, he served two years in the Navy stationed in Puerto Rico. While there, he enjoyed crewing on his Navy Medical Captain’s sail boat in the Caribbean. He then lived, played and worked in Telluride, Colorado for the Hall Chair Lift Company and for various contractors in Bozeman, Montana. He returned to Morristown after a couple of years out west and established his own company, Chapman Point Inc. doing fine quality dock and residential construction. Craig loved outdoors, his family home on the St. Lawrence River and belonged to many sportsman organizations. He was a tremendously hard worker and enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and kayaking in Northern, New York.
