Hepburn Medical Center

on Monday afternoon, March 3, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev.
Terry LaValley as celebrant. Burial will
be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday at Frary Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 10:00am.

Miss Payne is survived by one sister; Jane Payne of
Ogdensburg, eight nephews; Charles E. III and John M. Payne both of Jacksonville,
Florida
, Thomas J. Payne of Winter Springs,
Florida , Patrick J. Payne of Gainesville, Florida,
Joseph A. Finnegan of Madrid,
David J. Payne of Rochester,
William E. Payne of Ogdensburg and Clifford P. Crump of Penacook, New
Hampshire, five nieces; Mrs. Angus (Maureen) Saunders of Boonville, Mrs.
Richard (Kathleen) Bellamy of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Kevin (Barbara) McDonough
of Ogdensburg, Jane E, Crump of Penacook, New Hampshire and Mrs. Barbara
Lalonde of Syracuse, and many great nieces and nephews. Miss Payne is predeceased by two sisters;
Edith Finnegan and Mary Crump, two brothers Neil Payne and Charles Payne and
one nephew, Robert Payne.

Miss Payne was born on October 30, 1921 in Ogdensburg; the daughter of Charles
E. and Alice (O’Neil) Payne. She
graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1939, Ogdensburg
Business School

in 1940. She worked at George
Washington University
, Washington
,
DC. She came back to Ogdensburg in 1958
and she retired for the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1976 as
Personnel Specialist.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Mary’s
Cathedral Capital Fund or to the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club.
