I did not now Mrs. Lovely personally but I do know her daughter. Mrs Lovely had to be a good person and mother because she certainly raised a kind, thoughtful and caring daughter. My thoughts are with you Jo-Ellen!

Dear Jo-Ellen my deepest sympathy on the death of your mom. Ironically, I met your mom a few years ago when she helped my friend Nancy fire some pottery. The two of them enjoyed talking about the craft. She was so kind to offer the use of her kiln to a stranger. It is difficult to say goodbye to your mom at anytime but especially when you are so close and the death is unexpected. Peggy you raised a great daughter. May you Rest In Peace.

Peggy was more than just the mother of a good friend I grew up with, “Ma” was my other mother. When we were younger she spent time teaching us: sewing, crafts, knitting, crocheting, baking, ceramics and what ever else she could think of for us to learn that we enjoyed learning to do. As I got older. if I needed advice or had any questions about problems or life she was right there. She would always want to help others but didn’t want or expect anything from others. She was great, I will miss her, my deepest sympathy to Jo-Ellen and Jerome. “Ma” was great.

Mrs.Lovely was a caring person and I have many fond memories of staying at Lovely’s house, camping in the family bus camper and doing ceramics in the basement. To this day when I hear the word brat, I think of Mrs. Lovely and how many times she said to me “Hi Brat!” with a big smile on her face. I clearly remember her sense of humor and trying to figure out if she was serious or pulling my leg. She was for sure fun to be with. My prayers and thoughts are with Jo-Ellen and the rest of the family.
