Funeral services for Eva (LaPlante) Bouchard, age 100,
formerly of Parkview Rise, Ogdensburg, will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Church with Rev. F.
James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will
follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 3:00 to 5:00
p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
at Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. Bouchard
passed away November 12, 2009
at United Helpers Nursing Home.



Mrs. Bouchard is survived by three sons, Donald and his
wife, Janice, of Ogdensburg, James and his wife, Sandra, of Massena and Joseph
of Norwood, MA; one daughter-in-law, Noreen Bouchard of Parishville, NY; two
sister-in-laws, Theresa LaPlante of Watertown and Audrey Bouchard of
Ogdensburg; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William,
and a son, Gerald who died in 2001; seven sisters, Mabel Bond, Albena Leroux,
Tina Lockwood, Camilla Orlandi, Ruth Leroux, Nellie Blazowski and Mary Teresa
Clark; and one brother, Fred LaPlante.

Mrs. Bouchard was born in Quebec,
Canada on December 28, 1908 to Frederick and
Delia (Labelle) LaPlante. She married
William Bouchard on April 13, 1935,
the Rev. Msgr. Charbonneau officiating. Mr. Bouchard died on November
22, 1966 at age 61.

Mrs. Bouchard was employed at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric
Center before her marriage and worked at United Helpers Cedars Nursing Home
from January 7, 1967 until
her retirement in July of 1985 at age 76.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Notre Dame
Heritage Fund and the Ogdensburg Rescue Squad.
