Funeral services for Frederick M. Conger, Sr., age 67 of 508
Main Street, Ogdensburg will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 10:00 am at Notre
Dame Church with
Rev. F. James Shurtleff. Burial will be
in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00
and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Mr. Conger passed away on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Claxton
Hepburn Medical Center
surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Conger is survived by his long time companion, Cherratta
Recore: three sons, Frederick Jr. (Rick) and his wife Tammy, Steven and his
wife Patricia and Gregory and his wife Patty all of Ogdensburg; one daughter,
Vicki Woodard and her husband John of Ogdensburg; three brothers, Art, Michael,
and James all of Rochester; twelve grandchildren and six great
grandchildren. He is predeceased by a
daughter, Barbara Conger in 1992, a brother Robert and two sisters, Eva and
Agnes Conger.

Mr. Conger was born on September 25, 1940 in Brier Hill,
NY; the son of Myron and Mildred (Ashley)
Conger. He attended local schools. He married Agnes Shannon. That marriage ended
in divorce. He later married Beatrice Love. That marriage also ended in divorce. Mr. Conger worked in the construction trade
all his life as a laborer. Mr. Conger
was also a carpenter. For a time, he
worked in the construction trade in Florida.

Mr. Conger was a past member of the local Moose Lodge. He
enjoyed woodworking and mechanical work.
