Gary Chapple



Funeral services for Gary A. Chapple, age 58, of 420 Gate
Street, Ogdensburg, will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Notre Dame Church with
Rev. James F. Shurtleff officiating.  Entombment
will be in Foxwood Memorial Home.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00
p.m. at Frary Funeral Home.  Mr. Chapple
passed away July 11, 2008 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.

Mr. Chapple is survived by his wife, Marlene; a daughter,
Jennifer Sweeney and her husband, Kevin, of Ogdensburg; a son, Scott and his
wife, Bridget, of Ogdensburg; a brother, Albert (A.J.) of Tampa, FL; a sister,
Casey Chapple of St. Petersburg, FL; and three grandchildren, Ben Chapple, and
Katelin and Beck Sweeney.  He is
predeceased by his sister, Sharon Pike.

Mr. Chapple was born on May 30, 1950, the son of Earl and
Virginia O’Brien Chapple, in Ogdensburg, NY.
He graduated from OFA in 1969.  He
worked at Howland Pump as a Sales Manager; retiring in 2004 due to ill
health.  He served in the Army Reserves
for eight years.  He married Marlene
Luchetti on March 19, 1970 at Notre Dame Church with Rev. Paul Trombley
officiating.  Mr. Chapple enjoyed
hunting, the outdoors, riding in the countryside with his son, Scott and
spending time with his family.  He was a
member of the Cool Brook Hunting Club.
