We send our thoughts, Pam, John and your families, in the passing of your Mom. Our dear Lord has brought home a wonderful mom, grandmother and friend to many. It’s never easy in the passing of our parents. Thinking of you, as I always have Pam, after all you were a very close friend in our younger years.

Grace will be so missed, I foundry remember her each time I open piano books and see how she patiently tried to teach me tempo and chords. I remember fondly the towel she would put on the bench so our legs wouldn’t stick in the summer heat. Most importantly she mentored me through teenage craziness with her words of wisdom, her prayers and gentle hugs. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

So sorry to hear of Grace’s passing. She was such a big part of my life, so kind and gentle, For 13 years I happily skipped down the street to her house for my weekly piano lesson. I gained so much more than a lesson, she always had wisdom and advice for me, I even remember when I was ten years old and needed surgery, I was scared and didn’t want to go. Grace came to my house, sat with me and calmed my nerves, never forgot that. In the words of Irving Berlin; “The song is ended but the melody lingers on.” Rest in peace Grace, until we meet again.

Pam, John and Family – I just found out about Grace’s passing today while reading NCN. She was such a special and talented lady. I took piano lessons from her and always enjoyed the “stories” that went along with the lessons. They were about her life from childhood on up. I felt like I really knew her from them. She will be fondly remembered by her many students, friends, neighbors and anyone else who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dear Pam and family. I was so incredibly saddened to hear about your Mom. I can’t think of my own childhood without her in my thoughts. She was a wonderful second Mom to me in all those early years and I loved how she let us play with all those old gowns of hers. She was such a kind and loving woman and I have been blessed to have known her in my life. I was always so delighted when I saw her throughout time, She made me feel so at home . Thank you for sharing your special gift. I am sorry I wasn’t up North to pay my respects but my thoughts and prayers have been with you all.
