memorial service for Grace LaComb of Ogdensburg, will be held at St. Mary’s
Cathedral on October 3, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Terry LaValley officiating.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home.


Mrs.  LaComb died August 13, 2008 at St. Josephs
Hospital in Syracuse surrounded by her loving family, following a brief

She is survived by her son Ed, and his
wife Katie LaComb of Ormond Beach, Fl, her daughter, Sharon Reed and her
husband Michael Reed, and one grandson Simon Reed, and one grand-daughter Ava
Rose Reed of West Lebanon, NH, and also soon to be born, Alexander LaComb.  She also is survived by one brother James
Warren and his wife Jane Warren of Ormond Beach, Fl. One sister,  Evelyn Cameron of Massena, One sister-in-law
Mrs. Leola Robillard of Lake Placid, Fl. She is also survived by several nieces
and nephews.

LaComb was predeceased by one son Donald LaComb and one brother Stanley Warren.

LaComb was born in Massena, NY on November 29, 1928, the daughter of Edward and
Beatrice (Wells) Warren. She graduated from Massena High School in 1946. She
was married to Lyle LaComb on June 17, 1950 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev
Joseph F, Dowd Officiating in Massena. He predeceased her on June 12, 1992.
Mrs. LaComb graduated from Mater Dei College in 1995 with a degree in Alcohol
Chemical Dependency.

was employed at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center from January 1947-April
1991, after she retired She went to work at Gateway supportive apartments from
1992 until June 1997. She has been employed at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center
since June 2002 until her illness.

Mrs.  LaComb enjoyed traveling, reading, and
spending time with her family.
