Funeral services for Jacqueline E. Wilson, age 84, of 214
St. Lawrence Ave., Ogdensburg will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 10:00
a.m. at Notre Dame Church with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating.  Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Thursday (April 2, 2009) from 9 am to 10 am at Frary Funeral Home.  Mrs. Wilson passed away Sunday,
March 29, 2009 at United Helpers Nursing Home.

 

 

Mrs.
Wilson is survived by one daughter, Joyce Lahue and her husband, Dale, of
Ogdensburg; and one son, Gary and his companion, Mavis Simmons, of Ogdensburg;
four grandchildren, Craig Lahue and his wife, Holly of Michigan, Kevin Lahue
and his wife, Angie of Florida, Eric and Rene Lahue, of Ogdensburg, and Jolene
(Putney) and her husband Chad, of Chittanango; and five great grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law Jeanine Thibert; and one
brother-in-law Harold (Hi) Amo. She was predeceased by one sister Simone Amo,
one brother Marcel Thibert, and one nephew Michael Thibert.

She was
born on July 8, 1924 in Hull, Canada, the daughter of Wilbrod and Bernadette
Hamel Thibert. The family moved to Ogdensburg in 1925. She attended Holy Cross
School and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. She attended one year of
Mrs. Mastic’s Business School. One August 7, 1946 she married Garnet A. Wilson
at Notre Dame Church with Msgr. A.D. Charboneau officiating. Mr. Wilson died in
November 1998.  She worked in the office
at Cleveland Container, then at ACCO Brands for 15 years. She then worked at C
& W Enterprises Inc. as a bookkeeper until they closed.

Mrs.
Wilson was a member of the Blue Army, auxiliary member for A. Barton Hepburn
Hospital, honorary member of the Legion of Mary and Our Lady Rosary. She
enjoyed bowling, camping, knitting and spending time with her family. She was a
communicant of Notre Dame Church.

Memorial
contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart and Lung
Association.
