Blessings to all of the Batemans and extended family. At a young age, Jim, his brother John, mother, father, grandmother – and all of the Batemans – were close family friends of ours (Valley). His. independent – and some would say rebellious – spirit and athleticism made him a charismatic, if not totally unique individual. May he rest in His eternal light and glory forever…

So sorry to hear about Jim. Another classmate gone. Remember some of your many pranks in school, like an alka seltzer tablet in my pepsi. Rest in Peace, Jim. So very glad I stop at St. Joe’s that day to visit. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
