Jane, you don’t know how I feel but I loved ole hair bear like a brother. I wished I could have been there to say my final goodbyes but I’m sure Jon knows how I feel and he’s probably saying “shithead, where the hell are you?”We had a lot of good times over the years that I will cherish forever. Bonnie and I will try and get to NY sometime after I retire and come see you and Jennifer. Bonnie is the religious one in our family and she says Jon is with our holy Father and at eternal peace. He will always be with us all in our hearts and take care of you and jelly bean. We love you.

Jane and family, Deeply saddened to hear of Jon’s passing. Enjoyed getting his e-mails and recipes. He sure loved to cook. He just loved anything that had to do with a good time. He was settling into retirement quite well with some help from his friends at the Massena Rod and Gun Club. He sure got great satisfaction out of showing off that Gatling gun last summer. So glad he was able to enjoy himsself with his love of guns and shooting. He will be sadly missed by many including us. Careingly, David and Betsy VanOrnum, Massena.
