  • William Poole Posted July 30, 2019 9:08 PM

Rodney, Megan, Marissa & Jared & all family & friends,
Our sense of loss and grief at Lori’s passing from this life to the realm of eternity Is as ominous as a snow cloud over the St. Lawrence and as varied as the thousands of islands in this majestic river. . What a privilege and joy it has been to know her and to love her as she loved so many and showered so many with her volunteering and caring. Her major role in the establishment, planning and staging the re-unions of the early residents of the United Helpers has generated boundless thanksgiving and appreciation and earned our eternal respect and gratitude.
Tears, nor words of sympathy will ever bring back the touch of those loving hands; nor the music of her beautiful voice .
With heavy hearts, awe and reverence,
    Bill & Dottie Poole

I am so very sorry and heartbroken for all of you. My beautiful friends Megan and Marissa. And your brother Jared. Praying for strength and peace to find you all. I adored your Mom since the day I met her, she was the kind of genuine that is so hard to find. It was easy to tell how proud she was of you girls. And Jared too. She loved you all so much. I remember how excited she was to be a Grandma. Lori always treated my daughter like her own, she once opened her home to us when we were in need. She always had the right words to say and was the type who left you feeling lighter, more positive. Whenever i dropped by with either of the girls she never let leave without a hug. The world was a better place with her here. Sending so much love and many prayers.
