Funeral services for LouAnn Hyde, age 49, of 1102 Ford
Street, Ogdensburg, will be held on Wednesday 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral
with Rev. Bryan
D. Stitt officiating. Burial will
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in the spring.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Frary
Funeral Home. Ms. Hyde passed away at
Claxton Hepburn Medical Center Friday (February 13, 2009).
Ms. Hyde is survived by her companion, Robert Ives; three
sisters, Brenda Hyde of Ogdensburg, Lisa Merkley and her husband, Mark, of
Heuvelton and Barbara Kiah and her husband, Michael, of Ogdensburg; one
brother, William Hyde of Corpus Christi,
TX; a niece, Sara Merkley; a nephew, Eric Merkley, and his wife, Summer; and a
great grandniece, Alisa. She was
predeceased by one sister, Mary on July 10, 2002.
Ms. Hyde was born in Ogdensburg, on February 2, 1960, the
daughter of Freeman and Dorothy White Hyde.
She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. She worked at the Community Resource Center
in Ogdensburg and taught religious classes at St. Mary’s School. She enjoyed bowling, going for long rides in
the country and crossword puzzles.
