Funeral services for Margaret M. Murray, age 71, of 920 Washington
Street, Ogdensburg, will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at
St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Terry LaValley officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the
spring. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 from
2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00
to 8:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. Murray passed away on Wednesday evening at Claxton Hepburn Medical
Center surrounded by her
loving family.

Mrs. Murray is survived by one daughter, Mary Anne Murray, Ogdensburg; one son, Christopher
Murray and his wife, Nancy, Canton; four stepsons, Joseph Murray, Palmyra, NY,
Mark Murray and his wife, Mieko; Washington, David Murray, Massena and Scott
Murray, Watertown; one brother, William Dickinson and his wife, Margaret,
Ogdensburg; five grandchildren, Patrick McNally, Regan Murray, Michael Murray,
Katie Murray and Jack Murray; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Carolyn

Mrs. Murray was born in Ogdensburg on April 22, 1938, the daughter of Fordyce and
Marion Sequin Dickinson. She graduated
from St. Mary’s Academy in 1956. She
married John R. Murray on September
2, 1961 in Ogdensburg. He predeceased her in 1991. Mrs. Murray was a homemaker all her
life. She enjoyed reading, the New York
Yankees, her cats and especially
her grandchildren.

      MaryAnne, Your mother was a sweet lady. My mother was her roommate @ Claxton in Sept/Oct. She really made my mother’s stay a whole lot brighter. My mother talked of her often even after she left. Our sympathy and prayers are with you in your time of loss.
