Mary was a wonderful woman. She and Royal would often stop by to visit my parents while they were out and about. She was always very kind and encouraging to me. I will remember her as a faithful person who loved her family and friends. Another of the greatest generation gone… May she Rest In Peace.

My deepest condolences to the Sovie families. My mother, Betty Morrison, became good friends with Mary when we moved to New York in 1977 and lived directly across the street. Both dealt with the unexpected loss of a spouse and this made their friendship even stronger. I will always remember Mary fondly for being there for my Mom in her time of need. May she rest in peace.

So sorry for Aunt Mary’s passing. I just saw her back in August for the Sovie family reunion. She and my mom Lillian Sovie Kompf were the last of the Sovie ladies that started this great family reunion. We will definitely miss her for next year. Also my mom Lil sends her thoughts and prayers to you and your family ❤️
