Mrs Montroy was a lovely person. She spoke every time we walked by her room when Mom was at the Highland. She was very sweet to my special needs son on Halloween. She enjoyed having guests stop in her doorway for a few minutes.

I am so sorry to learn of Nancy’s passing. I am very friendly dog, and my human took me to the Highland Home Friday afternoon for one of our regular visits, and we were unable to meet with Nancy because her door was closed. Now my human, Andrew, has just read me her obituary in the Sunday newspaper. We plan on visiting the home either today or tomorrow, as we usually visit my fans there about three times a week. My human thinks I will try to go into her room when we pass by because I always get excited when we get near Nancy’s room. Nancy was one of my favorites in what my human called the Nicholas Fan Club. We will miss her, but know that she rests in peace in the sight of the Lord. My name is Nicholas, and I am a nine year old shaggy rescue dog who loves people.
