Funeral services for Nikki Davis, age 16, of 101
Mill St. Hammond, will be held Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 4:00
P.M. at Frary Funeral Home. Calling
hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00
until the time of the funeral service.
Interment will be at Foxwood Memorial

Ms. Davis died Thursday morning, April 17, 2008) at her home where she lost a courageous
battle against Batten’s Disease.

She is survived by her parents; Paul and Deeanna Davis of
Hammond; a sister Leeha Satterley of Hammond; two brothers, Reece Davis and
Chris Clement, both of Hammond.
Maternal Grandmother, Joan Spriggs; Maternal Grandfather Leo (Cathy)
Spriggs; Paternal Grandparents George and Betty Davis of Angleton, Texas, as
well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was born on June
18, 1991 in Potsdam,
the daughter of Paul and Deeanna (Spriggs) Davis. She attended Hammond
schools and was a member of this year’s junior class. Nikki also attended the Perkins
School for the Blind in Massachusetts
for two years. She then attended Trade Winds School in Utica
for three years.

Nikki enjoyed singing, dancing, swimming and Barbie
dolls. She also had a love for horses.

Donations may be made in loving memory of Nikki to Hospice
and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or Nathan’s Battle Foundation (For
Batten Disease Research) 459 South State Rd.135, Greenwood, IN 46142

    Hi Deanna, I’m sorry I’m just writing to you. I just read this and I wanted to say I’m very sorry. I know we haven’t seen each other in quite a while, but when I saw this I thought of you and what you must have went through. I’m sure you gave Nikki the best life she ever could have had.
    Once again, I’m sorry. I hope to see you sometime soon.
