Nancy E. Reese

A Funeral Mass for Nancy Elizabeth Reese, age 84, of Ogdensburg, NY, and formerly of Hamilton Gardens in Waddington, NY, will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Notre Dame Church at 10:00am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery following the Mass. Ms. Reese passed away on October 26th, 2025 at St. Joseph's Home with her niece Heather by her side.

Nancy is survived by two sisters, Lynn Ladouceur of Appleton, WI and Teresa Loffler and her husband, Doug, of Ogdensburg, NY; seven brothers, Paul Reese and his wife Lillian of Watertown, NY, David Reese of Texas, Doug Reese and his wife Karen of Evans Mills, NY, John Reese and his significant other, Cathy, of Ogdensburg, NY, Tim Reese and his wife Laurie of Ogdensburg, NY, Daniel Ladouceur and his wife, Nancy, of Ogdensburg, NY, Robert Ladouceur and his significant other, Linda, of Hermon, NY, her special niece Heather Whiteford and her fiance Jon Ball of Lisbon, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Nancy is predeceased by her parents, and two brothers, William Ladouceur and Leo Reese.

Nancy was born on April 14, 1941, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of the late Elmer Clarence Reese and Helen Ruth Cody Ladouceur. She attended Ogdensburg Free Academy and throughout her life worked maintenance and as a bartender. Nancy loved to socialize and had no trouble making friends wherever she went. She loved her family, her Pepsi, her cats, cheering for the Giants and the Yankees, playing on her computer, sudoku and wordsearches, and making others smile. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Joseph's where she received the best care with dignity and compassion.
