Audrey had many life joys, she loved gardening, antiquing and tag sales, sewing and embroidering, cooking for her family, and enjoying the fruits of her labor. Audrey loved good food, with jams, jellies, vegetables and pickles always put up to eat all winter long - she would often say, "we will eat what we can, and what we can't, we can." Reading gave her great pleasure, and she loved a good mystery novel. Audrey's handcrafted works amazed all of those who saw them, and she never ceased to learn new things, including how to shoot pool later in life. Audrey was always active in her community, no task was ever too large for her to tackle. She will be most remembered for encouraging her children to work hard, and to always be kind.
She is survived by her children, two daughters and son-in-laws: Celeste and Terry Sweet of Bangor, NY, and Janine and Frank Pierce of Norwood, NY; as well as two sons and daughter-in-laws: Kent Harrigan and Nancy Small of Middletown, CT, and Brian and Andrea Harrigan of Winthrop, NY.
