There will be no funeral services for Patricia M. Camp, age
69, of 130 Jefferson Ave., Massena.
Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Mrs. Camp passed away on July 1, 2008 at
Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.
Mrs. Camp is survived by a daughter, Kathy Helton and her
companion, Mike Sunday, of Albany; four sons, Frank Shelby and his companion,
Terry, of Pensacola, FL, Mike Shelby and his companion, Gail, of Alabama, Ricki
Shelby and his companion, Carolyn, of Alabama and Mark Shelby and his wife,
Edith, of Goldboro, NC; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and
five sisters, Muriel Morley and her companion, Jack Griffith, of Ogdensburg,
Beverly Leonard of Marion, NY, Sandra Allen and her husband, David, of Marion, NY,
Rita Rolf and her companion, Robert Perry, of Ogdensburg and Mary Jane Gardner
and her husband, Francis, of Massena; and one brother, Clarence Wood and his
wife, Linda, of Heuvelton. She is
predeceased by two sisters, Ruby Irvine in 1991 and Betty Jean Wood in 1940.
Mrs. Camp was born in Massena on June 30, 1939, the daughter
of Cecil and Myrtle Lafabure Wood. She
graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1957.
She married Frank Shelby in 1972 Mr. Shelby died in 1987. She then
married Reid Camp on July 13, 1992. Mr.
Camp died in 1997. Patricia Camp went to
school at Beau Art School in Syracuse
where she received her cosmetology license.
She practiced cosmetology until 1992.
She returned to school at Pensacola University in Florida where she
received her L.P.N. license. She worked
at Pensacola Health Facility and retired in 2006 due to ill health. Patricia loved spending time with her
grandchildren, cross-stitching and reading.
