Peter DeserreFuneral services for Peter E. Deserre, age 53, of 632
Champlain Street, Ogdensburg will be held on Monday at 10:30 at Frary Funeral
Home with Rev. Terry LaValley officiating.
Interment will be at Foxwood Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from
4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral
home. Peter E. Deserre was called home
to the Lord on February 9, 2008 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, after a
life-long struggle with the effects of diabetes.

He is survived by his mother, Bethany Deserre of
Ogdensburg; his father, Edward Deserre of Utica, NY.; two brothers, Steven Deserre
and his wife, Lisa, of Scotia, NY, and Joseph Deserre and his wife, Charlene, of
Poughquag, NY; with five nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and numerous
cousins.

Mr. Deserre was born in Utica, NY on May 20, 1954, the son
of Edward and Bethany Stevenson Deserre.
He was a 1974 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy.

He worked for the Ogdensburg City School District and the
St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center performing custodial services. Most recently he has been active doing lawn
care services for numerous residents around the city.

Peter was well known to many around town, and he will be
missed by all. He enjoyed fishing on the
St. Lawrence, and was an avid boat racing fan, especially of his father. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church
and the Knight’s of Columbus, where he volunteered his help at the bingo
nights.

Donations may be made in his memory to the American
Diabetes Association, or St. Mary’s Cathedral.

    We were sorry to hear of peter’s passing. He will be missed by all who knew him . Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Rest in peace Peter
