Robert J. Binion

Funeral services for Robert J. Binion, age 59, of Lisbon, NY, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Saints Philip and James Church, Lisbon with Reverend Kevin J. O’Brien officiating. Interment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Mr. Binion passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert is survived by his mother, Anne Binion of Lisbon, NY; seven siblings; Susan (Paul) Hytken, Bill (Kathy) Binion, Diane Binion, Shirley (Troy) Sample, Ted (Linda) Binion, Ed (Dawn) Binion, and Patrick (Ella) Binion; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Binion and his brother John.

Robert was born on April 22, 1959, in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Frank and Anne Moore Binion.

Robert enjoyed watching the ships on the St. Lawrence Seaway and spending time with his family.

Donations may be made in Robert’s memory to IRA Lisbon.

    Anne….we are so sorry to hear about your son, Robert. I have such wonderful memories of you Anne and think about you so much. You were such a very important part of my life at such a tough time for me. (putting tags on garments in the back room of Ames when I was 17 years old) God bless you and your family.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. I was fortunate to meet Bobby and help care for him when he lived on the McIntyre Rd, and have fond memories of those days. He had such a great smile. May his family find comfort in their memories of him.

    My daughter was a housemate of Bobby.She like to keep track of his visits to his Mom’s.He will be missed.Caring thoughts are with you and all your family
