Ronald D. Lawton

Ronald D. Lawton, age 62, of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2018, at SUNY Upstate Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Per his request there will be no funeral services or calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Cynthia; three children, Brandon Lawton and his wife, Amanda Marie, Mathew Lawton and Rochelle Jenney and her husband, Michael, all of Ogdensburg; two brothers, Rickie Lawton and Robert Lawton; one sister, Ellen Sue Lawton; three grandchildren, Zachary, Aubrionna and Damien and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by a son at birth, Donny David Lawton; his parents, Ronald and Thea Lawton; two brothers, Victor Lawton and Michael Lawton and a sister, Debby Heaton.

Ronald was born on September 12, 1956, in Waco, TX, the son of Ronald and Thea Joan Martin Lawton. He graduated from Norwich Connecticut and went on to serve in the United States Army and Navy. He was honorably discharged. Ronald married Cynthia Meunier on July 3, 1979, in Elizabeth City, NC. He worked for a time in Fort Drum.

Ronald enjoyed fishing, treasure hunting, history, Chess, playing on the computer and Minecraft with his family.
