Funeral services for Stanley H. Todd, age 93, formerly of
County Route 10, Depuyster, will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Frary
Funeral Home with Rev. Terry LaValley officiating. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in
Heuvelton. Calling hours will be held on
Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mr. Todd
passed away Thursday morning, June 26, 2008, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.
Mr. Todd is survived by one son, David, and his wife, Ceil,
of Brandon, VT; two daughters, Carol Loucks and her husband, Charles, and Nancy
Levac and her husband, Wayne, both of Depuyster; thirteen grandchildren and
twenty-one great grandchildren. Mr. Todd
is predeceased by a son, Keith, in 1999; two sons in infancy; one sister and
Mr. Todd was born May 13, 1914 in Depuyster, the son of
William and Carrie Baker Todd. He
attended local schools. He first married
Keitha Seeley. After Keitha passed away,
Stanley married Kathryn Ingram on June 14, 1939 in Depuyster. Kathryn passed away May 16, 1981. Mr. Todd first worked for the Civilian
Conservation Corps. He farmed in the
Depuyster area for a while and later became a milk and cattle hauler. He also worked for St. Lawrence County. In his later years he worked as a whey
processer in Heuvelton. He was also a
watchman for the Stony Brook Hunting Club in which he was a Life Member.
Mr. Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and
bowling. He was a past member of the
