Paula and family, I am devastated. Walt was a wonderful guy. I just loved gardening with him! My gardens never looked so good. We were planning what we would do in the spring. How fortunate we were to have known him if only for a very short time. He was a prince who cared so much for others and gave so much of himself to everyone he helped. What a genuine loving man. I will miss his weekly visits terribly. Thank you for letting me have him for a while.

    Paula and Family,
We are so saddened to hear of Walt’s passing. We could not ask for better neighbors in our first home. Walter took great pride in making his home and garden look beautiful. He was always outside with a smiling face. We will certainly miss him.

Hate to say goodbye to my friend for 60+ years . We did a lot of things together, from hunting, fishing, and working on docks, etc. together. He would always lend a hand to anyone who ask. He had a lot of good qualities. A all round great guy who will be greatly missed..

I got acquainted with Walt last spring / summer/fall. He came to my rescue in taking care of flower beds, etc. He was rare. Once finished with a chore, he would bag up the debris and take it to the city’s landfill. Just a wonderful, wonderful guy and I consider myself lucky I got to know Walt and his gardening talents in a short time. He will be missed by me as well as all others will miss him. Rest in Peace, Walt!!!!

I only wish I’d have got to know Walt better. I’d pass him occasionally in the woods hunting and he was a wealth of outdoors information . The woods will be a bit less accessible without Walt making his way through the most difficult areas way back in. Hope you all find peace, his passing will be a real tough loss.

Walt was much more than just another taxidermy customer to me. More importantly, he was a friend. Every time I saw him, he was so gracious, sincere, and friendly, it was just a joy to see him. he loved hunting as do I and that was our connection. I mounted several deer heads for him and it was always my pleasure to do something for him that he really appreciated. I’m very sorry to his family for this loss. A good man !
