Willie C. Brown

Calling hours for Willie C. Brown, age 71, of Ogdensburg, NY, will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. There will be no funeral services per his request. Mr. Brown passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the VA Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Willie is survived by his wife, Donna Alguire Brown of Ogdensburg, NY; a step-daughter, Nickole Miller and her fiancé, Doug Snider; two grandsons, Arthur Baker III and Aric Baker, all of Ogdensburg.

Willie was born on February 18, 1949, in Greeneville, SC, the son of Sanford and Annie Mae (Terry) Brown. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1968. Willie married Donna Alguire on December 7, 2016, in Ogdensburg. Mr. Brown was a custodian at City Hall and also worked at The Place in Ogdensburg.

Willie enjoyed all sports, old western movies and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

    Donna and family. Willy was so good to the Ogdensburg AmVets Auxiliary when I was President, he helped us many times. He was a good person and will be missed by all who knew him May he RIP. Thank you Willy for your service to your country.
